Parish Council Meeting on Thursday 16th February 2012 at 7.30pm in the Community Centre, Lower Halling. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Regular Events - Tuesday Coffee Morning 10am to 12 noon in the Community Centre.

Wednesday ZUMBATOMIC® drop-in classes 4pm to 4.45pm for ages 4-7 years; 5pm to 5.45pm for ages 8-12 years; and , 6pm to7pm ZUMBAŽ Toning drop-in class ages 16+.  Classes held in the Community Centre.  More information, visit www.zumbakent.co.uk or contact Gemma on 01634 891094 / 07708 167125.

 

Second and fourth Thursday of each month Drop-In Health Visitor Clinic 9.30am to 11pm in the Community Centre.

Thursday Short Mat Bowls 2pm to 4pm in the Community Centre.

Friday (when HALARA are not meeting) Sequence Dancing 2pm to 4pm in the Jubilee Hall .

St John's Church Information

Our regular services at St John's, the Parish Church of Halling, are as follows:-

Sundays: 11.00 Holy Communion.

Thursdays: 9.30 Holy Communion,

                 2.00 Thursday's Children (short children's service followed by tea & toys.)
 

We are a united parish with Cuxton.  Sunday service there is at 9.30.

At the Jubilee Hall we have Holy Communion at 8.00 am on first Sundays.  The second Sunday of the month we have tea there at 4.30, followed by Evening Prayer at 5.30.

Forthcoming Special Services and Events 2011

December 2nd 7.00 pm: District WI Carol Service at St John's

December 10th 10.00 am: Christmas Coffee Morning and Minimarket at Cuxton Church Hall

December 18th 3.00 pm: Carol Service, Crib service & Christingle at St John's

December 25th 8.00 am: Holy Communion at St John's

February 6th, 2012 at 6.30 pm: Diamond Jubilee Accession HM Queen: Celebratory evening service at St Michael's with the Archdeacon of Rochester to preach. There will be a reception in the church hall to follow.


Regular Church Events

Lunch
is shared every first Wednesday in the month at the Church Hall, Cuxton at 12.00.

At St John's we hold a short service - Thursday's Children - for children at 2.00 on Thursdays with time for games and refreshments afterwards. In school term time this is followed by an after school club at 3.45.

The last Wednesday of each month is Bible Study at 7.30 pm at the Rectory. All welcome.

We are recruiting bell ringers.  Contact Peter Silver on 01634 242658 or just come in when you hear the bells ringing.  You would be most welcome.
